DEFENDO now available with Solid State Drive (SSD) as a substitute for Hard Disc Drive (HDD)

Solid state drives, also called solid state discs, are high capacity memory devices and can be installed like usual hard disc drives. Unlike HDDs, SSDs do not carry any moving parts but do carry semiconductor elements only. That means higher shock resistance and longer life cycles along with enhanced performance. There is only less capacity of memory to life with.

The type of SSD certified for DEFENDO is a 2.5"SATA-2 SDD with 32 GB. For an extra charge of 100.- EUR per disk each version of DEFENDO comes with SSD instead of HDD.
